M the Myth
Born and raised in California’s Central Valley, electro-pop artist M the Myth is an androgynous, abundant expression of life. Bright costumes, dramatic makeup, and heartfelt choreography bring an undeniable air of radiance to his live shows. In 2015, he opened for Leif Garrett at the world famous Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, CA. He has performed at several other venues across the West Coast (2013-2016). Last Fall, M the Myth was featured in The Fresno Bee as an “Artist You Should Know”. His debut EP “This is M” dropped in October 2015 alongside a striking music video for the lead single “Let’s Get Drunk Anyway” (LGDA). He was a Semi-Finalist in the Unsigned Only Music Competition in 2015 for his song “Can You Break Boy”. He was reviewed in Music Connection Magazine’s September 2016 issue, where he received a 7.8/10 for his music, and his single “LGDA” was described as having “unabashed hookability”. His new single, “Holding On” was released in September 2016 along with an acoustic performance video. He recently signed a co-publishing deal with Alcon Sleeping Giant (Alcon Entertainment) for his work on “Arcade” by Zee Will ft. M the Myth and Corrin Cruz. He is managed by Rebecca Autumn Sansom through Blonde Artist Management LLC, a company he co-founded. His passion for LGBTQIA issues led him and his management company to organize a benefit concert in Fresno, CA for the Orlando shooting victims where he performed with a number of local musicians; the event was covered by several local news outlets, and raised over $1,500.00 which went to Equality Action Florida, Inc.’s fund for the Orlando shooting victims, victims’ families, and survivors. He has also used his performances to raise money for the Audre Lorde Project, Inc., a New York-based organization for gender variant people of color. He finished #9 out of 9,000 artists in Guitar Center’s nationwide singer-songwriter competition.
